Unstable Concoction, Hartamas
September 11, 2026

Unstable Concoction is now brewing curious chemistry, Hartamas’ new cafe-lab that splices spice and savoury sensations into caffeinated coolers while spinning Sade and Travis Scott on vinyl.
La Reina is layered with cacao nib tea, strawberry and chilli cheong, slyly slinking from fruity brightness with lingering cili padi heat into creamy, cocoa-toned depth.
TBD is a tropical triumph, weaving the roastiness of espresso with the light uplift of coconut water and house-whisked kaya. Pair with polo buns slathered with butter and the same kaya.
Apple Pie convincingly turns pastry into a pourable pleasure: Apple juice channels orchard freshness with a cinnamon spark, rounded out with the nutty richness of brown butter and tang of cream cheese.
Other concoctions include HOR?, a questionable balancing act of roselle tea and ristretto with lychee, honey, vanilla and milk, and Cepsi Pola, the choice of a new generation, folding the cafe’s own chai mix into cold-brew coffee.
Customers can scrawl suggestions for future formulations on the vision board: Mushroom mixes? Mangosteen mash-ups? Chaos is celebrated here.
