Roast pumpkin salad. Loaded with carbs from the pumpkin chunks, but totally worth it. This could be a divine meal on its own, with big helpings of rocket leaves, radicchio, croutons and parmesan shavings in honey mustard sauce.
Chermoula salmon fillet burger. A letdown. The grilled salmon was dry and lacked a fresh flavour. The jalapeno cheese and cocktail sauce dressing did nothing to help.
Lamb shank. Not bad. The meat was fork-tender and went well with the dark gravy and accompaniments of sauteed shallots and creamy mash.
The Hummingbird cake was magnificent as always. Every bite was a delight.
We also really, really like the Red Velvet too. Moist and oh-so-creamy.
