Only recently became conscious of Hakka food, but am lovin' it!
Sliced pork belly stewed with preserved vegetables in black soy sauce (the unhealthiest dish possible, but it was soooo good) and wok-fried celery with shredded dried squid, bamboo shoots and pork strips (total comfort food).
Deep fried Hakka yong tau foo with fish paste, minced meat, dried squid and salted fish (gobbled this up too fast and now I can't recall what it tasted like. Must have been all right though).
