Dou Pizza, Empire City

When we first visited Dou in November 2018, its eclectic menu featured everything from risotto with foie gras to yakiniku-style pork tongue. Fast-forward one year later, and Dou is now a pure pizzeria.
Dou's wood-fired selection is temptingly topped with everything from Russian-inspired kolbasa sausage to baby octopus with cognac-capsicum cream, gochujang pork belly to dill-cured salmon with horseradish ricotta.
Several pizzas were unavailable when we visited, but we had no trouble polishing off the Double Truffle, blanketed not only with black truffle paste but white truffle butter too, a straightforward, simple pleasure (RM51).
