Ranked 35th this year among Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, Ministry of Crab is crustacean paradise - Sri Lankan mangrove crabs come in sizes that weigh between 500 grams and two kilograms, cooked in preparations that include Garlic Chilli, with a blend of Sri Lankan chilli flakes, Italian olive oil and Japanese soy sauce. Prawns also surface in princely portions - try the Pepper Prawn, with a sauce of hand-crushed peppercorns and pepper stock; polish the plate with wood-fired kade bread and brilliant butter. For extra crab decadence, round out your order with some crab liver pate.
