Singapore's Talad Thai Banana launches first Malaysian store in IOI City Mall Putrajaya

Talad Thai Banana, our latest snack craving, has landed in Malaysia: This Singaporean-born, Thai-inspired destination for fried bananas and other fun fritters is now open in IOI City Mall Putrajaya for crispy-creamy pleasure!
Authentically Thai, these treats feature Thai-farmed namwa bananas (kluai nam wa), plump and stubby, coveted for their custardy firmness and sweetly fragrant tang, freshly batter-fried in small batches, perfect for an anytime pick-me-up.
Talad Thai Banana traces its roots to a family-run Thai supermarket business established in 1985 at Golden Mile Complex, once widely known as Singapore’s 'Little Thailand.' The brand officially launched at Thai Supermarket in Aperia Mall in June 2023 and has since expanded to 16 outlets across the island this year.

The signature Thai Fried Bananas (starting from RM10.90 per pack) come warmly blanketed in Talad Thai's flagship batter of coconut and wheat flour, studded with sesame seeds, light but potently crunchy to complement the fruit's naturally ripe lusciousness.
