Sri Hartamas' not-so-secret sanctuary for cookies and coffee is this home where husband-and-wife team Azlan and Azza bake and brew, five days a week, for takeouts and deliveries.

Sugarbrew's Double Dark Espresso is a decadent delight, as rich and fudgy as a cookie can be, not at all cloying or artificial-tasting, a vegan-friendly treat of terrific ingredients - organic German rye flour, French dark cacao, dark chocolate chips, olive oil and a hint of caffeine.

Pair with the Nona Latte, a beverage inspired by kuih nona manis, a refreshing iced latte gently sweetened with pandan-infused salted gula Melaka syrup. Sugarbrew relies totally on freshly, locally roasted coffee.
