PJ's new hidden bar is a genuine oasis in SS2, with a soothing garden-like setting underneath the stars.
Basic house cocktails bear an intriguing pricing system: At 6pm, these cocktails cost RM6 each; at 7pm, it's RM7, rising to RM8 at 8pm and so on, hitting a maximum of RM12. These are limited to simple mixes of vodka or Cognac with blends such as passion fruit syrup, cranberry juice and lychee.
More premium craft cocktails are also available, when a full-fledged mixologist takes the limelight to produce potions like the Jam Sour Monkey (RM35; Monkey Shoulder Scotch, fruit jam, lemon juice, bitters).
True to its name, wine won't be found lacking at Oenophilia; the house pour is a pleasant Chilean red that clocks in at just RM52 per bottle.
The food menu includes Lim Fried Chicken, brought over from the restaurant next door (RM15), as well as crowd-pleasers from Oenophilia's own kitchen, comprising blue cheese pastas (RM19), pigs in blankets (RM19) and reasonably priced cheese platters (RM25).
