The spice is right at Ara Damansara's new Indonesian restaurant Wartek, spearheaded by a Jakarta-born founder, serving specialities of his homeland with a few Malaysian flourishes.

The Nasi Lemak Bebek Madura is absolutely addictive, with firm, aromatic rice paired with a tender, tasty duck leg, complete with sambal and condiments. Also order the Soto Betawi, comforting with chunks of juicy and gelatinous beef parts, rounded out with side dishes such as paru rendang and more.
