Wafflemeister & Moo Cow @ Bangsar

November 7, 2013

Waffling over where to wander for waffles? Wafflemeister is one possibility - we initially reviewed them in their original venue at KLCC, but theyve since moved to Bangsar. This is the first Malaysian outpost of a London-based business that specializes in handmade Liege waffles.

I waffle, therefore I am? Sounds exactly like us!

Wafflemeisters offerings supply a reasonably rich chew; the ingredients here fall under the premium label, with Belgian choc fudge, Italian-style gelato & fresh whipped cream (lots of it!) used for both waffles & milkshakes.

Roaming around Bangsar, we also stopped at Moo Cows latest spin-off at Telawi.

Oops! We gobbled up our fro-yo so fast, we forgot to snap a photo of it. This months flavor is Winter Melon, a lovely treat, terrific when topped with melon seeds.

2017 Update: Wafflemeister & Moo Cow are now both among of 12 restaurants in Bangsar participating in the ‘Dine, Earn & Redeem with your mobile number' initiative by AirAsia BIG, AirAsia's loyalty programme. Bonus waffle destination: Check out another newbie, Coffee Etc at Oasis Ara Damansara.

No monkeying around here; Coffee Etcs team is eager to please.

The Belgian waffles here wont cost much more than RM10.90 per serving, but the vanilla ice cream & blueberry jam toppings are significantly humbler. The waffles themselves are nonetheless pleasant, with a warm crisp to them.

Coffee Etcs coffee? No real complaints; works fine to curb caffeine cravings.
