From Beach Street to Bangsar: A new dawn has come for Penang’s Urban Daybreak, rising for the first time on KL’s horizon with its latest outpost in Telawi.
The selection here follows the fundamentals of the George Town original, with a focus on all-day brunches - pair your pork with poached eggs in soulful, hearty ensembles like stout-braised pulled pork on sourdough toast with feta cheese, crispy shallots and BBQ cider vinaigrette (RM28.50) or minced house-made pork sausage with a hash of various potatoes, burnt capsicum and a purée of peas and broccoli (RM23).
Coffee is confidently prepared (the piccolo latte? practically perfect, for RM10), alongside signature beverages like a chai latte float, icily refreshing for these sultry afternoons (RM15).
The service crew maintains a friendly presence from start to finish.
