The Well Gallery Cafe, Petaling Jaya

This lovely, leafy sanctuary brims with warm people and welcoming plants. The Well makes for a worthwhile teatime stop - snack on macarons in fun flavours like butterbeer, Biscoff, creme brulee or cayenne chocolate (RM4 each; the final one is our favourite, with its subtly spicy finish) while sipping tea-based lattes, one steamy with chai (RM14), the other an icy, dirty matcha layered lusciously with espresso and milk (RM16).
