The Little Hoof @ Puchong

November 2, 2013

One of the more attractive-looking eateries to open in Puchong in recent times. Plus, its irresistibly cute name ensured that wed head here for a visit.

The Little Hoof calls itself a "pink, red & white meat restaurant;" this is a carnivores cafe, complete with chicken, beef, pork & lamb.

The house burger, stuffed with a pork chop, proves adequately juicy & flavorsome. Not brilliant, but not bad.

Not a fan of burgers? Pork ribs, pasta & even tortillas are available too.

Still, theres space for improvement; the New Zealand lamb (RM40 for 250 gram) is very tender but gamier than expected.

Wine is available by the glass for RM15, but when the white emerges at room temperature, its clear that theres a price to pay for the lower price.

Bonus Puchong stop: Chucks Little Cottage in Setiawalk, for potently cool cocktails.

Fruity fun: Alabama Slammer (orange juice, vodka, southern comfort, gin, amaretto), Applejack (apple juice, grenadine, brandy) & Salty Chihuahua (grapefruit juice, lemon juice, vodka & salt).

The Little Hoof,
Jalan Persiaran Puteri 1, Bandar Puteri Puchong. Same row as Bumbu Bali.
Open for lunch & dinner. Tel: 03-8066-6626
