Ten Japanese Restaurant @ Marc Residence

Lets bid a very warm welcome back to Ten, which opened a sparkling space in the city centers Marc Residence this week, taking over from what was Delicious.

This outlet was meant to launch last October for the Malaysian International Gourmet Festival; the six-month postponement has enabled Ten to decisively reclaim its crown as one of KLs top Japanese restaurants.

Ten at Marc Residence is in its soft-launch stage; this month, its only open during dinnertime on a limited capacity, so make reservations before heading here.

The new menu overhauls what Ten once served at its former Solaris Dutamas venue, with sushi & teppanyaki counters to showcase its kitchens wide-ranging skills.

Tens omakase set might be the ideal illustration of this restaurants fortes; the multi-course meal begins with sea bass atop red bean sticky rice.

Sashimis a pleasure, ranging from tuna to shrimp, all alluringly laid out.

Tuna makes a comeback in the sushi course, chopped with aromatic truffle oil & served as luscious belly in two irresistible presentations.

Sea urchin with sweet ginger paste. Recipes like this are what give omakase a great name.

Tempura baby squid & mountain veggies. Definitely not run-of-the-mill ingredients.

Its Wagyu beef teppanyaki, grilled to greatness. Holy cow, indeed.

 Tens sake list is extensive but expensive, matching the prices of the food here.

All things considered, its good to have Ten back. Itll be interesting to see how it fares here.
