Four years ago, we popped into Pokok KL In Mahsa Avenue for a leisurely lunch of nasi lemak and cili pesto pasta, and called it “a budding contender for one of PJ's loveliest cafes.”

This week, Pokok branches out to KL, sprouting on LaLaport Bukit Bintang’s rooftop garden, instantly blossoming into one of the city’s most graceful, gorgeous new cafes.
