Pastryville @ Plaza Damas, Hartamas Shopping Center

Swelling the ranks of Sri Hartamas bakery-cafes, Pastryville is a swell entry to the suburbs.

Plenty of space & no lack of style (the inspirational posters on the walls are a nice touch) make this a likable stop for a leisurely afternoon.

Pastryvilles name explains what it offers; not much surprising here, mainly familiar favorites.

For fruity fun, customers can try the flaky-buttery strawberry custard puff ...

... or an almond bun thats jam-packed with super-sticky durian kaya ...

... or a delicate dessert of mascarpone cheese blessed with fresh blueberries.

Coffees not half-bad either; cant complain one bit about the hazelnut latte.

All in all, not a place thatll knock anyones socks off, but it should satisfy everyones stomach.
