KL’s cool kids can now beat the heat at Bukit Damansara’s new gelateria, which serves up big flavours in each super-smooth, deliciously dense scoop, handcrafted daily in-store.
Each cup comes topped with a small dab of a second flavour, thoughtfully letting customers savour two varieties in one order.
The Lemon Mascarpone is bright and lively, like a Tuscan summer; Peanut Butter Stracciatella infuses a nifty, nutty earthiness into the Bergamo classic; Bacio conveys the comforting purity of Piedmontese hazelnuts; and Pistachio channels the ideal intensity of roasted Italian nuts.
Paolo Paolo Gelato’s setting in The Five complex is spartan for now, since it’s on a test run, but cosier furnishing should be coming in soon. This space will eventually be shared with Collective Coffee Roasters, moving from PJ to Bukit Damansara.
Fun fact: Paolo is the name of the founder’s cat.
