Milligram @ Taman Mayang Jaya

December 21, 2014

Gram, the kitty-cat that hangs out outside Taman Mayang's Milligram cafe, adores attention, perks up at the sight of chicken pasta (but completely ignores piccolo lattes) & could use a forever home if anyone's seeking an affectionate new companion.

Gram has terrific taste in her choice of cafes - Milligram is a new neighbourhood refuge with plenty of positive vibes, run by friendly couple Robbie & Trincy with a warm, welcoming team.

Gram won't get cat-feinated though - she pays no attention to Milligram's piccolo latte (RM9; Sulawesi Toraja), even though it's likely to satisfy most human customers.

But she's like a ninja - poised to strike - when the basil chicken pasta with poached egg in turmeric sauce (RM15) surfaces on the table, licking her lips & fixing her stare on the plate.

Milligrams' cakes look meow-worthy - highlights might be the salted caramel & rum-raisin mille-crepes by baker extraordinaire Jason Loo; we haven't specifically tried them here, but we loved them at The Red Beanbag.
