Koka Izakaya is the city’s charming new alleyway hideout for Japanese-inspired bites and booze off Petaling Street.
Tucked in REXKL UP, REXKL’s new sidekick satellite space, Koka Izakaya is founded by the friendly brothers who first launched REXKL’s Raijin Ramen a year ago.
By day, Koka crackles with crunch-worthy snacks like koebi karaage and kawahagi mirin boshi, coupled with shochu lemon sours. Come evening, the kitchen fires up mainly chicken-based kushiyaki.
