This neighbourhood cafe earns a high five for whipping up crowd-rousing specialities in a cheerful setting.
Both the food and beverages span East to West - the kitchen does a capable job with mee goreng basah (RM9; a spicy fry-up with fish cakes and prawns), bruschetta blanketed with juicy cherry tomatoes over thin toasts of garlic baguette (RM8), grilled chicken chops (RM15; paired with mashed potatoes and black pepper or mushroom sauce) and pulled pork burgers (RM14; with thick and tender shoulder meat, complete with a heap of fries).
The mee goreng might be matched with a longan red date drink (RM5), while the bruschetta could be coupled with the strawberry basil soda (RM7) and the chicken chop and pork burger with a noisette latte (RM10). A separate brunch menu that runs 9am-12pm promises breakfast bowls, nasi lemak and French toast.
