Curio Coffee Roaster, Riverwalk Village

Perched on a first-floor rooftop accessible only by a spiral staircase, Curio is a charmer of a cafe, a beautiful vision in white, helmed by husband-and-wife team Chris and Jook Yie.

Curio is also a micro roaster; while it's serious about beans, it knows how to have fun with beverages - try the milky Skyfall (RM16) and the fruity Passion (RM14) for a playful caffeinated kick. It supports independent bakers, serving homemade sourdough slices (distinctive with a soft crumb inspired by classic Hainanese loaves) and matcha brownies (densely creamy).
