It's been several months since Changkat Bukit Bintang last saw a fresh opening, so let's offer a warm welcome to this two-story champagne lounge.
Cin Cin's menu is limited, but naturally, there are oysters _ six succulent ones for RM29+. Prices here are below average, but there's no apparent compromise in the food quality.
Baby octopus & squid with avocado (RM19+). We love it when a plan comes together: the sweet-&-savory octopus, the pleasantly chewy (but not rubbery) squid, the creamy avocado _ all of them combine forces for a salad to savor slowly.
Foie gras (RM29+). Impeccably prepared liver, pan-fried with thoughtfully assembled accompaniments of mushrooms & berries.
Battered Camembert cheese stuffed with kimchi (RM19+). A crisp, salty snack, supremely addictive, with a mild kick from the kimchi. All these appetizer-portion platters come with raw leaves to reduce the guilt factor.
Of course, this visit would be incomplete without bubbly, also brilliantly priced. Nicolas Feuillatte Reserve Particuliere (RM35+) & Ferraton Cotes Du Rhone Rouge 2007 (RM30+).
