Cafe Waiting Love, Kota Damansara

Inspired by a 2014 Taiwanese rom-com, Cafe Waiting Love in Kota Damansara is the first Malaysian outpost of a family of cafes with branches mainly in Taipei. This is a charming hideout - head here for The Owner's Speciality espresso-based beverages, spiked with lemon juice, served hot or cold. Only one serving of the hot version is prepared each day, coming with cream and floral-salty notes, plus a cookie on the side (RM17); the cold version, meanwhile, is minty and citrusy, the perfect pick-me-up on a sweltering afternoon (RM16).
