Fresh-faced yet familiar: Bearing the colours of the Italian flag at its entrance and the nickname of the Italian national football team in its brand, TTDI's new casual Italian restaurant promises all the typical fan favourites, from pasta al pesto to pizza margherita.
The Oxtail Spaghetti might be the best bet for folks seeking a robust recipe, completed with slow-cooked meat in a heavy, tangy sauce - at RM18, this is the priciest pasta here, so it's fair to say Azzurri Italia intends to be wallet-friendly. Pair with a house red (RM18 per glass).
Azzurri Italia replaces the original TTDI outpost of the long-running Surisit Thai Kopitiam.
